My first day of teaching English in schools began the 5th of March.
Five days after arriving in Taiwan.
~
I teach at a total of six schools a week and have 19 classes a week.
I have 1st, 3rd, and 5th grade classes.
First day of teaching!!!
One of my totally adorable 1st graders
along the front with lots of windows.
The two things I like best about the schools it Taiwan are...
1. Most of the students view going to school as a privileged and as a result are excited and eager to learn.
2. The students are responsible for keeping the school and grounds clean. From raking leaves to washing their own dishes after lunch.
Some of my 5th graders at my main school.
Gifts from the 3rd graders at my Tuesday school.
They are so sweet!
My 1st graders again. What! me biased, never!
So far teaching has definitely been challenging, but the kids are totally awesome!
Great to here things are going well in Taiwan Janna
