Thursday evening Gem and I went to our first night market. Basically a bunch of stands selling food, clothes, jewelry, and stuff. They also have the kinds of games you'd play at a fair.
This is a picture of my dinner I bought at one of the stands for under $4.00.
The lighting was pretty bad, so in case you can't identify these delicious items, it's steak, noodles, an egg, and barbecue like sauce. Sorry, Am I making you hungry?
I wish I could take the credit for ordering it myself in Chinese, but alas my language ability is sorely lacking. Yah, so a friend ordered for me.
Sorry there aren't any more pictures. As I said before , the lighting was very poor, but I'll try again next time!

Anyway...
Friday was Hai Chien's (my main school that I teach at everyday) Sports day. A day off from regular classes when parents come and students can display their best artwork and such, and compete in different sports.

Anyway, so Sports day got canceled. Just so I don't leave you in tears, here I am excited because they put my picture up with the other teachers. You might see it if you look closely. Huh, that's ironic. I just realized I'm wearing the same outfit in both pictures!
Hehe! As you can probably tell I had a lot of fun writing this post. :D
